Nell and Carl are married. Jamie and Sally are upstairs neighbors. Everyone’s invited to dinner but no one has made food and there’s a leak in the ceiling. Are Nell and Carl in love or actually getting divorced? Is that water up there on the ceiling clean? And also, why is Sally’s real name Silda? A play about acting, and loving, and what’s really real, really.

About Open Your Ears
In this series, we immerse ourselves in a text for one week of rehearsal, followed by 1–2 public readings. These shares are essential for us to learn how a play "lands" with an audience, as seen in our recent reading of Devin E. Haqq’s The Peony Lantern.
