Legend has it the word “fiasco” was first used to describe commedia dell’arte performances that went horribly (and hilariously) wrong. While we hope to avoid on-stage disasters, we believe that it is only when artists are brave enough to risk a fiasco that there is the possibility of creating something special. We chose the name Fiasco to remind ourselves to brave the huge leaps in the hopes of discovering huge rewards.

Due to COVID-19, we (like everyone else) have had to revamp a lot of plans for what we hoped to show you in 2020. When our next production is scheduled, you’ll be able to find details on our current productions page. We also would love for you to join our email list, so information about shows and more will show up in your inbox as soon as available!

Thanks for your interest! While we aren’t holding auditions for new company members at this time, we often cast non-company actors in our productions, and we always enjoy collaborating with new friends. Send us an email at info@fiascotheater.com if you’d like, and keep an eye out for show announcements on our email list.

At this time, Fiasco does not have an internship program. As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we may have a limited number of non-acting internships on an as-needed basis. Any internships will include a stipend, and will be tailored to Fiasco's current programming and the individual's skills and interests. This page will be updated as the situation evolves.

Fiasco is not currently seeking submissions from writers. Please stay tuned on this page for any updates, as we are continuing to evolve our approach to developing new work.
